Each October, the Community Foundation for the Disabled and Columbus Community Center recognize businesses and individuals for contributions made to support the independence of people with disabilities. The event is also done in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).

Visionary Leadership Award
Columbus Community Center Founding Parents, recognizing their grass-roots efforts in starting the center in 1968
Social Enterprise Award
Intermountain Healthcare Central Laundry, recognizing its entrepreneurial efforts to opportunities for individuals with disabilitiescreate job
Outstanding Business Partner of the Year
United States Army 96th Regional Support Command, recognizing its ongoing partnership with the Columbus Grounds Maintenance program
Outstanding Worker of the Year
Recognizing a Columbus participant who has shown exemplary work skills
